Fighting continues near Debaltsevo. Today Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the city by massive shelling, as a result of which a school, kindergarten, church, houses were damaged, power supply was disrupted. Heavy 152mm artillery was fired. There was no information regarding casualties.
Trench warfare continues on northern and south-western outskirts of Gorlovka, mortars, large-caliber machine guns, AA guns are being fired.
Ukrainian military fired on outskirts of Yasinovataya, as well as Krasny Partizan and Krutaya Balka villages. Aleksandrovka and Trudovskie villages on western outskirts of Donetsk came under Ukrainian army’s artillery fire. By the evening the intensity of trench warfare in the area of Yasinovataya checkpoint and Avdeevka industrial zone increased.
Dokuchaevsk outskirts and Elenovka village came under Ukrainian army’s fire.
The enemy fired on Sakhanka, Oktyabr and Sergeyevka villages in the south of DPR.
Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to deploy military hardware and artillery at the frontline. DPR recon revealed large quantities of Ukrainian artillery in the outskirts of Svetlodarsk and Mironovka on Debaltsevo direction. “Grad” multiple rocket launcher (MRLs) squadron, two platoons of 120mm mortars, two motorized companies, two tank companies were discovered on Gorlovka direction. A platoon of “Smerch” MRLs, a platoon of “Grad” MRLs, a battery of “Akatsiya” self-propelled artillery guns (SPGs), a platoon of 122mm “Gvozdika” SPGs, a battery of 120mm mortars, two tank platoons were discovered on Donetsk direction. A platoon of 122mm “Gvozdika” SPGs, a platoon of 122mm D-30 howitzers, a battery of 82mm mortars, two tank companies were discovered on Mariupol direction.
DPR People’s Militia Command summed up the past week. In the past seven days Armed Forces of Ukraine fired on the territory of the Republic 8043 times.
