OSCE Special Monitoring Mission camera footage proves LPR doesn’t shell Ukrainian forces

09.12.2016, LPR.

The footage recorded by a camera installed by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission confirms that there are no shellings of the territory controlled by the Ukrainian army from the positions of Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) People’s Militia, LPR envoy to Minsk talks Vladislav Deynego stated during a briefing in Lugansk Information Center.

He reminded that yet another round of talks between the members of the Contact Group and its Working Subgroups took place in Minsk on December 7th. In particular, “the prospects of the accomplishment of the separation of the forces and [military] equipment near Stanitsa Luganskaya township” were discussed during the meeting of the Security Subgroup.

The Ukrainian side was once again telling about some mythical shellings. Thank God, this time we have the footage of a surveillance camera installed near Stanitsa [Luganskaya township], which has been finally put into operation by OSCE Mission. And these camera footage does not confirm any facts of shellings claimed (by the Ukrainian side),” Deynego stressed.

However, OSCE evades the question whether there are circumstances, which prevent the separation of the forces and [military] equipment. Only more suggestions to consult the monitoring reports, which they publish on the official website of OSCE, are received in response to quite specific questions,” LPR envoy to Minsk talks added.

Deynego emphasized earlier that the separation of the forces near Stanitsa Luganskaya township became an indicator of Kiev’s ability to fulfill its obligations.
