Ten thousandth birth certificate issued in Donetsk

The Demidovs family from Kirovsky district of Donetsk received their child’s birth certificate today. It is already the ten thousandth certificate issued in Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) since July 2015. The anniversary document was officially handed over in a district civil register office.

The Deputy Spokeswoman of DPR People’s Council Olga Makeeva, the First Deputy Minister of Justice Yakov Khodos, the Head of the Department of the Civil Register Services of the State Registration Chamber of the Ministry of Justice Tatyana Allakhverdieva attended this event to congratulate the parents – Yuliya and Yaroslav.

It is a wonderful event. Our young parents decide to have children despite all the difficulties and challenges because peace, well-being, and stability will be here,” Makeeva addressed those present at the ceremony. “I wish all of you good health, happiness, and peace in our land.”

After the congratulation, the happy parents signed the document certifying the birth and the name of a child. It is the second child in Demidovs family; they named their son Maksim.

Let love, happiness and understanding dwell in your home. I wish you never to find out what war is like, I wish you to live in a peaceful land,” Khodos congratulated the parents.

The young family received diapers, warm blanket, as well as the financial assistance, from the Ministry of Justice and Members of DPR Parliament.

The citizenship status act issuing started in DPR on July 27th, 2015. The first marriage certificate was issued on July 29th, 2015, in Makeevka. The newlyweds received the certificate from DPR Head Aleksandr Zakharchenko. A family from Donetsk received the first document certifying a child’s name in 2016. DPR birth certificates are being issued since July 2015.
