The situation on the contact line remains tense. Ukrainian army intensified the shelling of frontline towns and villages of Donetsk People’s Republic. The enemy once again attempted to breach the defense of People’s Militia in the south of the Republic.
Artillery and mortar shelling of frontline districts of DPR is underway from the side of Svetlodarsk.
Gorlovka, as well as Zaytsevo, Shyrokaya Balka, Ozeryanovka villages and “Mayorsk” checkpoint came under artillery fire. The enemy also fired mortars, grenade launchers and small arms, the fire was adjusted by drones.
Ukrainian army shelled Spartak, Zhabichevo, Kamenka and Yakovlevka villages north of Donetsk and Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka villages west of Donetsk.
Dokuchaevsk once again came under Ukrainian artillery fire. There were no reports regarding damage or casualties.
Tense situation formed on the Mariupol direction. DPR People’s Militia servicemen repelled an attack of 15 militants from Ukrainian army’s 36th marine brigade’s 21st battalion who tried to breach the front in the area of Kominternovo village. The enemy lost three people dead and two injured. A diner, Palace of Culture, mail, fire station and boiler-house in Kominternovo were damaged by shelling. Leninskoye village got hit as well. The enemy adjusted artillery fire and supported the attack of the militants by drones.
People’s Militia recon uncovered a platoon of 122mm D-30 howitzers in Georgievka village. Up to a battery of 82mm mortars were discovered in Novgorodskoye near Gorlovka, up to a platoon of self-propelled 152mm “Akatsiya” howitzers were found near Yasinovataya.
According to updated information, on November 27 Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire 2059 times on frontline districts of the Republic. The enemy fired 120 152mm and 122mm artillery shells, 368 120mm and 82mm mortar shells. On all sectors of the front the enemy fired grenade launchers, IFV guns and small arms.
