Ukrainian authorities, which had seized power during the “Maidan” coup, force Ukrainian military to conduct provocative shellings of the territories of Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics to prevent the peaceful settlement in Donbass. A militiaman, ex-assistant of Defense Minister of Ukraine, Aleksey Selivanov made this statement commenting on the continuing shellings of LPR and DPR front-line territories including Lugansk outskirts, Lugansk Information Center informed.
“Ukrainian authorities are not interested in peace. War is the only way for them to stay in power. All the dissatisfied citizens can be treated as ‘enemy’s agents’ during the war. And this is what Ukrainian authorities are actually doing,” Selivanov explained.
“Ukrainian authorities are the terrorists holding the whole country hostage. After the coup, Ukrainian citizens received only destruction and lowering standard of living. They hate Ukrainian authorities because of the lowering of the living standard, as well as the bacchanalia of Nazism and war. Peaceful residents of Donbass are being killed by Ukrainian army’s shellings almost daily, while Ukrainian military says in almost every other news report that they are not going to stop their shellings,” the militiaman said.
“Many citizens in Ukraine did not lose their common sense. But the repressions carried out by the security services and the war are preventing all these people from the revolt. Therefore, the fighting will continue while the ‘Maidan junta’ is in power,” ex-employee of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine assured.
