The situation on the contact line is tense. Trench warfare on main sectors of the front don’t cease, the enemy made another breakthrough attempt in the south.
On Gorlovka direction Armed Forces of Ukraine fired on Golmovsky and Zaytsevo villages, as well as Mayorsk checkpoint by automatic grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
Staromikhailovka, Aleksandrovka and Trudovskie in the west of Donetsk came under large-caliber artillery and mortar fire. Trench warfare is underway in the area of Avdeevka industrial zone, Spartak village, Donetsk airport and Peski village. IFV guns, grenade launchers, small arms and mortars are fired. Residents of northern districts of the capital hear the roaring of artillery explosions.
South of Donetsk Ukrainian army shelled Dokuchaevsk, there was no information on destruction and casualties.
Today the Ukrainian side attempted yet another breakthrough attempt on the Mariupol sector of the front. Up to a platoon of the enemy attacked DPR People’s Militia positions in the area of Vodyanoye village. The attack was repelled, the enemy lost five people dead and seven injured. In addition to this, Kominternovo, Sakhanka and Leninskoye villages were shelled by the enemy’s artillery.
DPR recon revealed the positions of two 152mm self-propelled “Akatsiya” howitzers in Granitnoye and Dzerzhinsk. Arrival of “Uragan” multiple rocket launchers to Kurakhovo was noted.
According to updated information, on November 22 Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the territory of the Republic 503 times. The enemy fired 13 152mm and 122mm artillery shells, 157 120mm and 82mm mortar shells. Zaytsevo near Gorlovka, Staromikhailovka, Aleksandrovka, Trudovskie in the west of Donetsk, Elenovka and Dokuchaevsk, as well as Sakhanka and Leninskoye villages in the south of the country came under fire.
