The tension on the frontline remains high. Armed Forces of Ukraine increase the intensity of shelling of frontline districts of DPR, firing 152mm and 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars, IFV guns and small arms.
One civilian was killed by Ukrainian artillery fire in Zaytsevo village north of Gorlovka. By the evening trench combat erupted in northern and western borders of the city. The enemy fires artillery, automatic grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns.
The situation remains tense on the outskirts of Donetsk. Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled Staromikhailovka village in the west of the city, damaging four houses of Chapayeva street. The enemy also fired on Trudovskie, Aleksandrovka and Spartak villages, as well as on the area of the airport and Avdeevka industrial zone. Trench combat on this part of the front don’t cease.
The situation is uneasy in the south of DPR as well: once again Sakhanka, Bezymennoye, Kominternovo and Leninskoye villages came under Ukrainian army fire.
According to updated information, on November 18 Ukrainian side fired on the territory of the Republic 1510 times. Towns and villages on Gorlovka, Donetsk, Dokuchaevsk and Mariupol sectors of the front came under fire. DPR People’s Militia Command informs that one serviceman of the Republic was injured.
