Tense situation is being registered on all sectors of the front. Intensity of trench combat and shelling of frontline districts is growing.
Starting from the second part of the day, Ukrainian military periodically launch artillery shelling of northern and south-western outskirts of Gorlovka. The fire is adjusted by recon drones.
Avdeevka industrial zone, Spartak, Donetsk airport, Volvo-center, Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka villages came under Ukrainian army fire on Donetsk direction. As a result of the day shelling the building of Donetsk city hospital № 21 in Kuybyshevsky district of the capital and several houses in Veseloye village were damaged. By the evening trench combat in the north of Donetsk renewed, the enemy fires artillery and small arms.
South of Donetsk the enemy shelled Dokuchaevsk by artillery guns, as a result of which three houses on Lenina, Gvardeiskaya and Ostrovskogo streets got damaged.
On Mariupol direction Kominternovo, Sakhanka and Bezymennoye villages got shelled by Ukrainian military. Two houses on Kirova street got damaged in Kominternovo village.
DPR recon registered positions of five 120mm mortars near Starognatovka on Gorlovka direction. On the south direction, in the area of Vodyanoye village, the positions of three “Giatsint” self-propelled 152 mm artillery guns were spotted. Six “Grad” multiple rocket launchers arrived to Mariupol.
Accoring to updated information, on November 16 Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire on the territory of the Republic 894 times, including 374 times by artillery guns and mortars. Zaytsevo and Zheleznaya Balka near Gorlovka, Avdeevka industrial zone, Spartak, Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka villages near Donetsk, Dokuchaevsk and Novaya Mariyevka, Kominternovo, Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Bezymennoye in the south of DPR came under fire. A total of 14 houses in different towns and villages of the Republic got damaged.
