The situation along all of the frontline in DPR sharply escalated. In the past two days the intensity of shelling of frontline areas of the Republic by Armed Forces of Ukraine doubled.
Intensive shelling of Zaytsevo, Zhovanka, Shyrokaya Balka and Zheleznaya Balka villages take place on Gorlovka direction. The enemy uses all range of weaponry, from heavy artillery and tanks to grenade launchers and small arms.
Hours-long artillery shellings of Avdeevka industrial zone and Volvo-Center areas take place north of Donetsk, Staromikhailovka, Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka are shelled in the west of the capital.
An artillery shell reportedly hit an apartment building in Dokuchaevsk. 67-year old woman was hospitalized with multiple shrapnel wounds. At approximately 17:00 the artillery shelling of “Elenovka” checkpoint started. Civilians and personnel were immediately evacuated from the zone of the shelling. Over 50 shells were fired at the area of the checkpoint.
Water supply of Tavricheskoye village on Mariupol direction was disrupted after the water tower was hit. In the evening Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire on Kominternovo, Dzerzhinskoye, Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages by artillery guns and mortars, the shelling already continues for several hours.
DPR recon registered three mortar positions near Granitnoye (Mariupol direction). Approximately 150 Right Sector militants arrived to Pravdovka (Gorlovka direction), another 300 National Guard servicemen were deployed in Grigorevka (Donetsk direction). Ukrainian army servicemen were driving a tank under the influence of alcohol in Zarya village on Mariupol direction and drove over a car, killing three civilians.
According to updated information, on November 7 Ukrainian army opened fire at the territory of the Republic 1072 times, including 510 times by mortars, artillery and tank guns. Zaytsevo and Zheleznaya Balka near Gorlovka, Avdeevka industrial zone and Petrovsky district of Donetsk, Elenovka and Dokuchaevsk, Oktyabr, Kominternovo, Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in the south of DPR. 9 houses in Zaytsevo and Elenovka were damaged.
