The intensity of shelling of frontline territories of Donetsk People’s Republic continues to grow. Ukrainian army’s artillery is most active on the Gorlovka and Donetsk directions.
Local residents report from Gorlovka that trench combat takes place in the north and west of the city. Ukrainian side fires small arms, automatic grenade launchers, infantry fighting vehicle weapons.
Donetsk direction remains hot. In the second part of the day the enemy once again shelled positions of DPR army in the area of Yasinovataya checkpoint by mortars from the direction of occupied Avdeevka. The situation remains tense in the western outskirts of Donetsk as well.
DPR recon reports on the arrival of several groups of foreign mercenaries, a total of up to a hundred people, to Mariupol area. Location of a tank and positions of two mortars were discovered between Mariinka and Novomikhaylovka south-west of the capital.
According to updated information, on September 27 Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire over 200 times. Zaytsevo, Shyrokaya Balka and Krasny Partizan near Gorlovka, Krutaya Balka, Spartak, Avdeevka industrial zone, Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka near Donetsk, Dokuchaevsk and Sakhanka were shelled.
