On September 17 Lom, Texas, Patrick Lancaster and Essence of Time mission in Donbass members delivered humanitarian aid to the specialized Republican infant orphanage in Makeevka. There are approximately 70 children here, 25 of them are diagnosed with HIV. We delivered four boxes with children clothes from caring citizens of Russia, who handed the humanitarian aid through Essence of Time cells. Patrick brought approximately 3000 diapers, which the orphanage had an acute need of, as well as candy and cookies. In addition to that, Texas handed over 5000 rubles sent by the congregants of the Orthodox church in Florida for the child, who needs to be transported to Saint Petersburg for an operation.
Pediatrician Natalya Arkadievna thanked for the aid on behalf of the whole staff. She told how hard it was for them in the summer of 2015, when the building was hit by Ukrainian army’s shelling. To protect the children from being hit by shrapnel, the medical personnel carried them to the basement on their arms.
