Ukrainian army is preparing to deploy seven sabotage groups of a total of 35 people to Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR Deputy Operations Commander Eduard Basurin stated today during his daily briefing at Donetsk News Agency.
“Our recon continues to register facts of training of sabotage groups of the enemy belonging to the Ukrainian army special operations force that are to be deployed on the territory of the Republic,” Basurin noted. “Their main tasks might become high-profile terrorist acts in large cities and explosion of critical infrastructure of the Republic.“
Deputy Commander emphasized that DPR authorities made a number of steps to tighten the security.
“Nevertheless, we address the citizens of our Republic asking to up their vigilance and call the police and security service hotlines having spotted suspicious people or their actions,” he noted in conclusion.
