On September 1 the filming crew of “Donbass with Texas” was on battalion tactical drills of one of the motorized infantry units of the armed forces of the Republic. According to the script of the drills, DPR army soldiers managed to repel the assault of the opposing force. Then, after reconnaissance took place, they crossed a river, pierced through the enemy’s defenses and launched a counter-offensive. Infantry fighting vehicles and PTS-2 amphibious transport vehicles crossed the river on their own. Combat engineers constructed a pontoon bridge in mere minutes to transport artillery. The commanders graded the completion of the tasks set with an A+. The soldiers jokingly called the event “a rehearsal of crossing Dnepr river”.
