On August 26 the Contact Group on peaceful resolution of the conflict in Donbass reached an agreement in Minsk on a ceasefire in Donbass. Today’s results allow to state that, as a whole, the ceasefire is observed. Only isolated reports of single-shot gunfire in the direction of the contact line were received from the civilian population, however, full-scale combat wasn’t started.
It became known in the evening that a civilian was injured by sniper fire in Aleksandrovka village in Petrovsky district of Donetsk. The shots were fired from the direction of Mariinka occupied by Ukrainian military. The civilian was hospitalized.
