Last night Ukrainian military fired 345 shells at frontline regions of Donetsk People’s Republic. Northern outskirts of Gorlovka, Avdeevka industrial zone and Yasinovataya outskirts, Spartak village, Donetsk airport and Petrovsky district of Donetsk, Elenovka, Yasnovye, Aleksandrinka and Dokuchaevsk villages, Kominternovo and Oktyabr in the south of the Republic.
School № 84 building, railroad station and at least 8 houses on Rakhmaninova, Fruktovaya streets and Artyomovskoye road are damaged in Gorlovka as a result of Ukrainian artillery shelling. Two houses on Bokiya and Bezlesnaya streets are damaged in Petrovsky district of Donetsk. Another house is damaged in Dokuchaevsk on Shors street.
DPR recon spotted the arrival of heavy hardware and new positions of the Ukrainian army at the contact line. Three “Grad” multiple-launch rocket systems are spotted in Ostroye village, three self-propelled “Gvozdika” artillery guns in Georgiyevka village, four large-caliber mortars are uncovered in Novomikhailovka village and two tanks are spotted in Novgorodskoye village. Work of five drones of the enemy is spotted on Gorlovka and Donetsk directions.
Due to low training of the main personnel of Ukrainian army and a large number of non-combat casualties Ukrainian army commanders made the decision to move individual units to homeland training grounds for additional training by American instructors.
According to updated data, on August 13 Ukrainian army fired 675 shells at DPR territory, 586 times they fired artillery.
