Donetsk People’s Republic forces prevented the attempt of recon-sabotage group (RSG) of Ukrainian army to infiltrate the positions of the Republic in Donetsk airport area, DPR Deputy Operations Commander Eduard Basurin informed today in Donetsk News Agency press-center.
“The activity of enemy’s RSG is noted near Opytnoye village. This way, a recon-sabotage group of up to 12 people was stopped by small arms fire when attempting to infiltrate the rear of DPR units, as a result the enemy returned to original positions. The enemy lost up to 10 people dead and wounded,” Basurin said.
It was earlier reported that Ukrainian military shelled the frontline territories of DPR, firing 610 shells in the past 24 hours, including by heavy artillery.
