Hospital #21 in the frontline Oktyabrsky village in Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk was shelled today by Ukrainian military, Donetsk News Agency reports.
Local authorities informed that the windows and walls of the buildings of the hospital were damaged as a result of a direct hit of a mortar shell. There was no information regarding casualties.
Donetsk city hospital #21 is in direct proximity to the contact line. It has been shelled by Ukrainian army by mortars multiple times, which caused damage to the windows and roof. Nevertheless, the hospital continued to operate throughout the conflict and continues to provide medical aid to residents of the city to this day. Last summer the European Council Commissioner for Human Rights Nils Muižnieks visited the hospital with a special inspection.
