Ukrainian military shelled Staromikhaylovka village of Kirovsky district in the western outskirts of Donetsk last night by artillery guns, a source in Donetsk People’s Republic Defense Ministry informed Donetsk News Agency today.
“From midnight to 01:15 the Ukrainian side shelled Staromikhaylovka by 122mm artillery guns. The fire was opened three times, a total of 13 shells were fired from Ukrainian army positions at the residential district,” the source said.
According to the information of the source, Ukrainian units used tanks and mortars along with artillery during the shelling of the Republic. Zaytsevo and Krutaya Balka villages near Gorlovka, Trudovskiye village west of Donetsk, Vasiliyevka, Veseloye and Zhabichevo villages in Yasinovataya district, the territory of the industrial area in Yasinovataya suburbs, Dokuchaevsk and Sakhanka village in the south of the country were under Ukrainian army fire this night.
“A total of 379 82mm and 120mm mortar shells, as well as nine tank shells were fired in the evening and night at frontline DPR territories,” the source claimed. Information regarding casualties and destruction is being specified.
