Seven servicemen of the Ukrainian army died in the explosion of the Ukrainian army vehicle, according to the Deputy Operations Commander of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Eduard Basurin, Donetsk News Agency informed on June 26th.
“According to our intelligence, during the rotation of the 14th battalion of the 72nd independent motorized infantry brigade (IMIB), the maps of the mines, placed at the first line of responsibility area of the unit, were not provided (to the 30th IMIB – Editor). As a result, a vehicle of the Ukrainian army exploded, and seven servicemen died when the units of the 30th IMIB were assuming their positions”, Deputy Operations Commander specified. The explosion occurred in the sector of the front near Novotroitskoye village south-west of Donetsk.
The DPR Armed Forces Command regularly informs about situations when the Ukrainian military hardware and personnel explode on the Ukrainian mines. Dozens of Kiev servicemen died this way.
