Azerbaijan resumed shelling Stepanakert city at 06:00 local time (4:00 in Berlin) by rocket artillery, according to Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Ministry.
According to this information, the shelling continues on the south of the contact line. “The divisions of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic army are conducting the necessary operations to suppress the aggressive actions of the enemy,” the Defense Ministry stated.
There are no commentaries of Azerbaijan regarding this statement. Earlier on Sunday Azerbaijan Defense Ministry claimed that Armenia shelled it along all of the contact line during the night. At the same time, it rejected the claims of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic that active combat continues in the north and south-east of Karabakh.
