Ukrainian military shelled Zaytsevo and Golmovksy villages in northern Gorlovka by multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS), a civilian is injured, a source in Donetsk People’s Republic Defense Ministry told Donetsk News Agency today.
“The Ukrainian military shelled villages Zaytsevo and Golmovsky at approximately 07:30 by MLRS. A civilian is injured,” the source said.
According to the source, information regarding the shelling was filed to OSCE representatives.
Zaytsevo village administration representative informed Donetsk News Agency that a total of 30 houses were damaged by the shelling. Three of the houses burned to the ground, at least two are destroyed by direct hits. The final information regarding the number of destroyed houses and injured civilians is still being specified.
Besides Zaytsevo, Ukrainian army shelled northern Donetsk outskirts and Shyrokino village area south of Donbass. Three villages lost access to electricity supply as a result of the night shelling of Telmanovo district, the enemy was aiming at the power lines.
