The Syrian government army has taken the historical part of the city of Palmyra (Tadmor) under control.
“The Syrian army has taken the historic town of Tadmor under control by using small arms only,” Brigadier General said to Sputnik news agency. He emphasized that no air strikes were used, the agency notes.
