During the past week, fighting units of Kiev junta’s punitive forces frequently shelled the territory of Donetsk People’s Republic, the unit “Essence of Time” reported on their official page in the social networks on February 9th.
It is reported that the total number of shells fired during the week was 882, 770 were fired by heavy weaponry.

Three civilians were killed, three others were wounded, one of them – a child.
Buildings, including a school, received serious damage as a result of the shelling.
According to intelligence reports, the movement of significant numbers of Ukrainian military equipment is registered, there is an information about the presence of ISIL (Organization banned in Russia) fighting units and adherents of Dzhokhar Dudayev* in the ranks of Ukrainian army.
*Dzhokhar Dudayev was a separatist dictator of Chechnya in the days of the dissolution of USSR and in the early 1990’s who detained his political opponents and Russian soldiers in concentration camps. In June 1995 terrorist leader Basayev and 200 of his terrorists attacked Russian city of Budyonovsk. The scale of the attack was such that his men broke into apartments, taking people hostage and driving them to the streets. A total of 600 people were taken hostage on the streets, approximately 100 people, including policemen, were murdered en-route to the hospital. Another 1100 people were taken hostage in the hospital, 650 of them – patients. Basayev held hostages in the local hospital for five days, executing dozens. For this terrorist attack Dzhokhar Dudayev awarded him with the rank of brigade general. In the Western propaganda Dudayev and his terrorists were presented as “freedom fighters”. Dzhokhar Dudayev was eliminated by Russian intelligence agencies on April 21, 1996 by a precise airstrike. Basayev, famous for many other terrorist acts, including military invasions in other parts of Russian Federation, was eliminated by Russian intelligence agencies on July 10, 2006 – Editor.
