Criminals seek and beat up former policemen in Kiev and Kiev region, Ukrainian media report.
Law enforcement officials are being found in open databases, which have been published during “maidan“. There are hundreds of such cases already, a source in Ukrainian police said.
In 2013, during the protests on Maidan Nezalezhnosti (English: Independence Square) in Kiev, which led to armed clashes with the police, the lists with home addresses of officers of “Berkut” and other police units were published.
