Hitler’s criminals will be immortalized in the names of streets of Kiev

Kiev authorities have made a decision to change the names of a number of streets in the Ukrainian capital.

Gorkogo street now bears the name of Hitler’s Nazi collaborator Kirill Osmak. Former Shchors street now is named after the radical nationalist Evgeny Konovalets.

MPs have also voted for renaming Panfilovtsev street where the Russian Consulate is to Volunteer Battalions street.

Earlier Ukrainian Minister for Culture Vyacheslav Kirilenko has issued a decree to take down all museum exhibits dedicated to the Soviet period in the history of the country and declared that the Museum of Totalitarianism will be created.
