Russia wants to avoid war as much as possible, however – Europe is being prepared for war with the Russians, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on April 27 on the Right to Know program on the TVC channel.
Russia will have to fundamentally change its way of life if it wants to survive the confrontation with the West, noted the political scientist. At the same time, “if this war lasts for centuries and it is not with Ukraine,” then the enemy will only become stronger, stressed the expert.
For example, if Trump makes the US exit NATO, and we find ourselves without Article 5, according to which they are obliged to enter into a confrontation when at least one of its members is attacked, Russia will have opponents of a different quality, including a militarized Japan and a militarized Germany, explained the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
“We see an increase in military budgets. We see exactly how the elites are changing. We see how Europe is being prepared for war with us. If they are preparing it this way, then this war will happen,” said the political scientist.
At the same time, Sergey Kurginyan emphasized that Russia does not want this war, “absolutely does not want it.” According to him, this is precisely why “the Ukrainian sovereignty has been supported with natural gas revenues for decades, and everyone was so afraid to disturb this Ukrainian independence.”
At the same time, the Ukrainians showed themselves as a people who do not stand strong on the basis of national self-reliance, noted the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
“It is simply because they don’t have any national self-reliance without the Russian factor. Having taken out the Russian and Soviet factors, they found themselves in a state of great depression in everything related to national self-reliance. And then come utopias, totalitarianism, ecstasy and hatred,” explained the political scientist.
In terms of sovereignty, Kiev has nothing to rely on, Kurginyan explained. In Ukraine, there is no tradition of sovereignty, including the tradition of collecting lands, unlike the case in Russia. And therefore, “all this turned out to be immersed in a paroxysm of hatred, which is very sad, very sad, and which, frankly, was not even imagined to reach up to such an extent,” added the political scientist.
