The Ukrainian army must leave the remaining part of the Zaporozhye region, otherwise after the referendum and subsequent incorporation into the Russian Federation they will be considered occupiers, attacking Russia, the member of the Regional Council of the Civil and Military Administration Vladimir Rogov said on September 22, RIA Novosti reported.
“The Ukrainian armed forces must immediately leave the remained part of the Zaporozhye region,” he said.
Rogov noted that the further procedure of declaring independence from Ukraine and becoming part of the Russian Federation will lead to the fact that “Ukrainian troops will be perceived as occupiers, and any of their actions as aggression against Russia.”
The referendum in the Zaporozhye region will assume that its entire territory will leave Ukraine and become part of the Russian Federation as an independent entity.
On September 23-27, there will be referendums on becoming a part of Russia in the DPR, LPR and the territories of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions under the control of Russia.
