Losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces exceed 100,000 people and amount to half of the Ukrainian army, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on September 21.
The Ukrainian army lost 61207 people dead and 49368 wounded.
Shoigu stressed that these are “quite significant losses,” because with an army of just over 200,000 men, the losses amounted to half of the army.
“That is why they are already in the 4th wave of mobilization, almost 300,000 people have been mobilized,” he added.
