Kurginyan: The current state of the army, military-industrial complex and mass media will not allow Russia to remain standing

18.09.2022, Aleksandrovskoye.

The current state of the army, military-industrial complex and mass media will not allow Russia to withstand a long-term conflict with the West, Sergey Kurginyan, a philosopher, political analyst, and leader of the Essence of Time movement, stated in his interview to Belarusian ONT TV channel on September 14.

Kurginyan is convinced that the current “rotten reality,” which is not changing in any way, is the main problem for Russia’s withstanding in the unfolding confrontation with the West.

The West has declared us an existential adversary for long, forever. And this cannot be sustained within the framework of this reality. It cannot be done with these media, it cannot be done with this education system, it cannot be done with these defense procurements,” the analyst believes.

The political scientist drew attention to the fact that while Russia sells T-90 tanks to Ethiopia under the existing system of defense procurements, Russian troops in Ukraine use less modern T-72 tanks, and it should not be like that.

Besides, Kurginyan explained that within the framework of the existing rotten reality, the Kharkov “composition” with the retreat of allied Russian and LDPR troops will always be possible.

“This is a rotten reality. This is the reality of money,” the political scientist stated, so it must be changed. Including changes are needed in the military-industrial complex, in the training of the army and its size.

We need a three million-strong professional army, which will be trained at appropriate military training grounds. We need to gather all the people who still know what the interaction of the branches of the armed forces is, and teach from scratch, taking into account modern reality,” Kurginyan stressed.

In his view, it is high time we understood that a very powerful enemy is at war against us in Ukraine, whose strength should not be underestimated. This enemy is loaded not only with modern weapons, but also with Nazi ideology. Therefore, it is time to move away from “parade maneuvers on parade training grounds” and start working genuinely.

On September 1, speaking in a new installment of Kurginyan’s original Destiny, Kurginyan pointed out that $500 billion to $1 trillion would be needed to technically rearm Russia in a conflict with the West.
