The Russian side in the joint Russian-Turkish commission for ceasefire monitoring in Syria reported 23 violations of the ceasefire over the day in Syria, as an information bulletin published on December 28 on the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense informed.
The bulletin reads that the ceasefire was violated 23 times in Aleppo (4 violations), Idlib (14 violations), and Latakia (5 violations).
The Turkish side reported 5 ceasefire violations in the past 24 hours. The Russian side in the joint Russian-Turkish commission confirmed none of them.
In the past 24 hours, the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in the Syrian Arab Republic carried out five humanitarian actions in Barzi al-Warwar in Damascus province by delivering 500 food packages, in Ras al-Kalluriya in Latakia province – 250 food packages, in Kruso province in Latakia province – 250 food packages, in Dabbana in Haseke province – 440 food packages, in Mesherfa in Homs province – 250 food packages.
The ceasefire on the territory of Idlib de-escalation zone has been in force since March 6, 2020. The agreement is guaranteed by Russia and Turkey.
