President of Poland Andrzej Duda’s position regarding LGBT propaganda inspires respect, the Chairman of the Synodal Public Relations Department of the Moscow Patriarchate Vladimir Legoida wrote on his Telegram channel on June 15.
According to Legoida, Polish president’s independent position deserves respect despite the complicated political relations between Russia and Poland.
“There are still politicians in the EU who continue their attempts to counter the aggressive obtrusion of the LGBT agenda on everyone and everywhere as well as the relentless persecution of any discontent in this regard,” Legoida wrote.
Legoida stressed that the Christian values are our common European values, which we share with Poland as well.
Last week the President of Poland Andrzej Duda said in his election speech that in Poland “there is no, and never will be, any other form of family but solely a union between a woman and a man, which is the only constitutionally acceptable form.”
Also, the president stressed that he will never allow children to be adopted by same-sex couples, and he said that LGBT is an alien ideology to Poland.
