US "are not responsible" for regrouping Islamist military equipment in the coalition zone

14.11.2017, Russia.

The command of the international US-led coalition could not explain the regrouping of the Islamists’ military equipment in the zone of the international coalition, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports on November 14.

“The United States failed to answer requests of the Russian force command on why militants that move out in heavily equipped combat vehicles are regrouping in the zone controlled by the international coalition in order to launch new strikes against the Syrian army in the Abu Kamal area”, the Russian Ministry of Defense twitted.

It is also reported that “to safely cover the militants’ retreat, the coalition’s jets tried to create obstacles for the aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces –   the coalition’s jets entered the airspace in the 15-km area around the Abu Kamal city.”

More than once the international coalition was found supporting the ISIL militants (organization banned in Russia) and the Al-Nusra Front (organization banned in Russia).

On November 8, the Syrian army and Iraqi military units, with the assistance of the Russian Air Force and the Russian Navy, liberated the city of Abu Kamal. Later, some media outlets circulated information that the ISIL militants (organization banned in Russia) recaptured the city of Abu Kamal. However, this was disproved by the command of the Russian Armed Forces in Syria.
