Russian soldiers liberated the villages of Leninskoye and Makarovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Russian Ministry of Defense informed on November 16 in its update on the progress of the special military operation aimed at demilitarizing and denazifying Ukraine.
Leninskoye was liberated by soldiers of the Tsentr Group of Forces operating in the Krasnoarmeysk direction. Makarovka was cleared of Ukrainian armed units by soldiers of the Vostok Group of Forces, operating in the southern part of the DPR.
Between November 9 and November 15, Russian troops also liberated Kolesnikovka in Kharkov Region, and Voznesenka, Volchenka, Stepanovka, and Rovnopol in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
