Kurginyan: The West eliminates any leaders who seek relations with Russia

The elimination of Western leaders who seek relations with Russia is never incidental, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on October 18 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.

Kurginyan reminded that US President John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert Kennedy wanted to establish deep relations with the Soviet Union in spite of the fact that it was Kennedy that came close to initiating a nuclear war during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Besides, as Roosevelt sought really far-reaching relations with Stalin, which would certainly be anti-European but would also imply convergence and a bipolar world, to the same extent Kennedy sought relations with Khrushchev,” the political scientist reminded.

He indicated that the figure of John Kennedy was grossly inflated in the USSR as a convenient way to expose the corruptness of the US system due to his assassination.

Apparently, any dark spot on the image of the United States was good for us,” Kurginyan said.

However, the political scientist noted that Kennedy, unlike Franklin Roosevelt, was “an unpleasant personality.”

According to Kurginyan, Robert Kennedy during his conversations at the highest levels used to say that his brother was killed because he was a leader who could establish another kind of relations with the USSR. Such a convergence was unwanted for certain powers, and he urged to take this into account.

His confidential conversations with the Soviet top officials meant a lot in this sense. And all the tandem incidents (the assassination of Roosevelt – the death of Stalin, the assassination of Kennedy – the resignation of Khrushchev etc.) have a very deep background,” Kurginyan said.

The political scientist noted that every time major Western leaders begin to develop strong relations with Russia, whatever its current incarnation is, soon “these attempts are interrupted.”
