Russian Rosoboronexport State Corporation will show the fifth-generation Su-57E fighter jet, the latest guided missiles and aerial bombs, and new armament for the Ka-52E helicopter will be shown for the first time at an aerospace exhibition abroad, Rosoboronexport Director General Aleksandr Mikheev said on 7 November, according to the press service of the state-owned company.
Rosoboronexport will take part in the international aerospace exhibition Airshow China 2024, where it will organize a large-scale display of the latest weapons, including aircraft, helicopters, and air defense equipment. The Airshow will be held from 12 to 17 November in Zhuhai.
General Director of Rosoboronexport Mikheev noted that this aerospace exhibition is a landmark event for the company, as the Russian special exporter started its activities in 2000 in Zhuhai. Rosoboronexport has brought a rich lineup of weapons and military equipment to the upcoming air show.
“For the first time abroad, the fifth-generation Su-57E fighter will participate in the flight program. Additionally, the latest guided missiles and aviation bombs, along with new weaponry for the best-in-class Ka-52E combat reconnaissance and attack helicopter, will be showcased,” stated Mikheevv.
The Su-57E, in addition to its demonstration flights, will also be displayed in a static position along with the latest aviation munitions developed and produced by the Tactical Missiles Corporation.
“Among the novelties are the multifunctional, stealthy, high-precision next-generation Kh-69 cruise missile and the Kh-58USHKE anti-radar missile, the Grom-E1 guided missile, and aviation bombs including the K08BE guided bomb and the UPAB-1500B-E gliding bomb, which are being shown abroad for the first time,” the statement reads.
Additionally, Rosoboronexport will present the S-350E Vityaz air defense missile system at the air show, which has demonstrated high efficiency in real combat conditions. The system is capable of operating in a fully automatic mode.
As part of the business program of the air show, the Russian state company will hold meetings and negotiations with representatives of the People’s Liberation Army of China and delegations from friendly countries.
