06.11.2024, Moscow.

New US President Donald Trump’s statements on peace in Ukraine may change tone after his victory in the election, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing on November 6.

He acknowledged that during his election campaign, Trump made high-profile statements about the conflict in Ukraine. One of them was that he would stop the conflict in 24 hours.

After winning, actually preparing to enter the Oval Office or entering the Oval Office – these are the statements that sometimes take on a different tone,” Peskov noted.

He stressed that the Kremlin is carefully analyzing everything and observing everything. Conclusions will be made already on the basis of real words and steps.

Even before the final results of the election are summarized, it is obvious that Trump has won. He has already been congratulated by the leaders of the US parliament and several foreign heads of state.
