The deteriorating situation of the Ukrainian armed units on the front lines forces NATO to decide whether to enter the war with Russia, said political scientist and professor at the University of Southeastern Norway Glenn Diesen on October 29 in a post on social network X.
“The collapse of the front lines intensifies, which presents NATO with a dilemma: Start negotiations or go to war against Russia,” Diesen noted.
On October 29, Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh stated that the US does not intend to impose restrictions on Ukrainian militants using US weapons against North Korean soldiers in Ukraine.
Additionally, on October 28, The Wall Street Journal wrote that the Ukrainian armed units lacked sufficient mobilized Ukrainians to replenish units on the extended front. It cited data indicating that the Ukrainian armed units receive about 20,000 recruits per month.
