The air defense systems of the Russian Armed Forces shot down one HIMARS rocket and 25 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the Russian Defense Ministry wrote on October 14 on its Telegram channel.
“A US-made HIMARS rocket and 25 fixed-wing UAVs were shot down by air defense systems,” the statement from the Russian defense department reads.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, a total of 33,605 enemy UAVs have been destroyed since the beginning of Russia’s special military operation.
On October 13, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that 13 Ukrainian fixed-wing UAVs were shot down overnight over Russian regions.
