The Saudi aid agency KSrelief established an “air bridge” to deliver medical supplies and food to Lebanon on October 13, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reports.

The first Saudi plane carrying humanitarian aid departed from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and landed in Beirut with over 40 tons of food, medical supplies, and essential items.

Along with the humanitarian cargo, Saudi emergency service specialists arrived in Lebanon to assist with search and rescue operations.

The head of KSrelief, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, stated that this initiative “reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to providing assistance to those in need and countries around the world.”
