Hezbollah announced that its fighters attacked the suburbs of Tel Aviv using a swarm of kamikaze drones, Anadolu Agency wrote on October 13.
The Lebanese group did not specify the exact timing of the attack. At the same time, Israeli military stated on the evening of October 11 that a building in Herzliya, part of the Greater Tel Aviv area, was damaged by the launch of two drones from Lebanon.
This marks the first instance where the Israeli military reported drones arriving from Lebanon in the Tel Aviv area since clashes with Hezbollah began on October 8, 2023.
Herzliya is located just a few kilometers from the country’s main airport, Ben Gurion Airport in Lod, and the power station in Tel Aviv.
