A Ukrainian fixed-wing drone was shot down over Kursk Region, the regional governor Aleksey Smirnov said on October 3 on his Telegram channel.
“In the area of Kurchatov, a Ukrainian fixed-wing UAV was suppressed by electronic warfare means,” Smirnov wrote.
He mentioned that the drone’s crash caused explosions in a utility building not related to the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant.
“Emergency services are working at the scene,” the governor added.
