Russian Armed Forces took the section of the Velikaya Novoselka-Ugledar highway in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) under their control, a source in the regional military office told TASS on September 3.
The highway was a vital supply channel for the enemy’s grouping in Ugledar. It was used to transfer Ukrainian troops from the Zaporozhye direction.
On September 2, the Russian Defense Ministry informed that units of the Group of Forces Vostok had taken more advantageous positions and defeated units of the Ukrainian 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade, 129th and 241st Therritorial Defense Brigades in the areas of Vodyanoye, Ugledar, Prechistovka and Velikaya Novoselka in the DPR.
