Main members of the expedition to the North Pole are 63 gifted schoolchildren, winners of the youth contest “Icebreaker of Knowledge”
On August 17, 2024, the flag of the Essence of Time movement was planted at the North Pole! The icebreaker 50 Let Pobedy, on which the flag was delivered, left the port of Murmansk on August 13, on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the first combat of the Essence of Time independent tactical group (OTG SV). The OTG SV celebrated its 10th anniversary on August 15. In honor of this event, the flag was planted at the North Pole. For eight years, the OTG SV participated in the defense of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), and since July 2022 has been fighting in Ukraine in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces.

Essence of Time‘s member, who is an inventor and helps the OTG SV, has arrived at the North Pole together with the fifth international expedition “Rosatom”—”Icebreaker of Knowledge.” The main group of the expedition consists of 63 gifted schoolchildren, winners of the youth competition “Icebreaker of Knowledge.” This project is aimed at popularizing natural sciences and nuclear industry technologies.
Schoolchildren from all over Russia participated in the project, and this year, about 15,000 people applied for taking part in competition. The expedition also included Russian scientists, engineers, travelers, and 15 experts — delegates from various countries selected for the World Festival of Youth.
On August 22, the icebreaker 50 Let Pobedy returned to Murmansk.
