A transition to a new Russia, which will be able to withstand the coming challenges, consists of several important components, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on January 12 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
As the first important component of such a transition Kurginyan named the lifting of any taboos for military songs. The political scientist stressed that in a time of war our culture should regain “its strongest side, i.e. that it (Russia – Rossa Primavera News Agency) has always been a sovereign military power.”
Kurginyan urged to encourage the singing of military songs first of all at governmental events, including those taking place in Crimea, which it is becoming increasingly militarized.
“We live in a time of war, and only a clinical idiot or a neurasthenic can ban military songs. Please remove this protection from the fact that this is a time of war,” the political scientist indicated.
The philosopher added that the enemy, e.g. the Information and Psychological Operations Center, will immediately take advantage of any local ban of that kind in order to use it in the informational-psychological war against Russia.
Another important component of the transformation of our country, according to the philosopher, is work with the population. The philosopher explained that any crowding of people are inappropriate in the time of war, and they should be avoided when attempts of terrorist attacks against the population of Russia take place.
People’s behavior should be properly channeled in wartime, Sergey Kurginyan explained.
As the third component, the philosopher named the control of and a proper reaction to incidents like the “nude party.” Kurginyan explained that such incidents seek to undermine the political stability inside the country.
“<…> This must be strongly prosecuted,” the political scientist indicated.
Kurginyan explained that Russia’s domestic stability relies on the behavior of the electorate that is affected to varied extent by the ongoing special operation in Ukraine. The political scientist stressed that there is averagely 8 to 10 million of such electorate in the country.
The Western countries can use this electorate to escalate our domestic political situation. We must not allow this to happen, the political scientist indicated.
“And they can make a difference, because they will make this difference not only through their electoral behavior, but also with everything that we have already experienced during the Wagner incident. This is the key threat, and we cannot neglect it. This must not happen again,” the philosopher stressed.
Kurginyan indicated that no reasons for any indignation of this electorate must be allowed anymore. The political scientist added that it is vital to monitor such problems, and we must monitor them in a mobilized manner.
Another component, according to the political scientist, is a revision of the Russian army and its upgrading to a new qualitative level. The philosopher added that our mobilization capabilities are complicated by the consumerist type of our society that the Russian authorities have raised.
As an optimal solution for this problem, a large professional army can be built. In the current conditions, our country can afford this, the philosopher believes.
In order to build such an army, it is also important to improve the status of the military profession by raising the lowest salary to 400 thousand rubles. Also, professional servicemen should have appropriate apartments and social infrastructure.
The Russian defense industry also needs strengthening and improvement up to a level that would allow Russia to withstand the confrontation with the collective West, the political scientist indicated.
Sergey Kurginyan added that any further components that may become necessary for the transformation of Russia to its new quality can be resolved in a calm and untroubled manner.
“And those who are not happy with this are free to go. And then a healthy life will begin, in which we will avoid elimination,” the philosopher concluded.
