Kurginyan: The West’s dead end in Ukraine is exaggerated

11.01.2024, Aleksandrovskoye.

The Ukrainians made a mistake when they exposed their counteroffensive and reported to the West about their inevitable victory, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on December 29 in an interview Results of 2023, Expectations from 2024 on the BelTA channel.

The political scientist noted that the West definitely believed the Ukrainians, and it counted on a soon victory, but its dead end is exaggerated.

According to the philosopher, something incredible was taking place in Ukraine at the beginning of the hybrid war against Russia that the West unleashed, and this could only take place because a showman, Mr. Zelensky, governs the state.

A discussion was taking place that the Ukrainian military would attack the Russian army in a way that it should look like a TV series but not a secret military operation,” Kurginyan told.

According to the analyst, the Ukrainians, firstly, discussed their plans in an absolutely wrong manner; secondly, they were imbued with a very Ukrainian south-Russian carelessness towards their victories; and thirdly, they took an absolutely wrong tone in their dialogue with the West. He explained that the Ukrainians said “if you give us something we guarantee our victory.” Instead, they should have said, “oh, this is not enough, and still not enough, not enough.”

My eastern acquaintances have a very wise manner for such situations. They say, “if someone sends you a good Uigur cook, after your meal you should make a remark, e.g. ‘all the dishes were delicious, but the dumplings were somewhat too thick.’ Why? To make them send you the cook again,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement told.

According to the philosopher, Ukraine should not have said it was completely satisfied, because it thus took all the cost upon itself. He indicated that Ukraine should have put the costs up to the West, “Oh, this is too little, this is not enough, what shall we do?” The political scientist indicated that the Ukrainians instead said, “Perfect, very good, the Abrams tanks will make a devastation.”
