Publications in the US media about preparations for Ukraine’s counteroffensive once again confirm that it uses Ukraine to wage a proxy war against Russia, according to the report from the theater of war published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 564.
The Washington Post published a detailed article on Ukraine’s failed counteroffensive. It notes that the plan for the counteroffensive was actually prepared by the West. For this purpose, eight large command and staff exercises were organized with the participation of Ukrainian, US and UK officers.
The newspaper also describes how US and Ukrainian officials coordinated the counteroffensive. It is stated that the Pentagon pressured Kiev to launch a counteroffensive in the spring.
