No external force will be able to bring discord to the Russian-Chinese tandem, Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui said, RIA Novosti informed on December 19.
According to him, any actions of ill-wishers, as well as the growth of challenges and instability in the world, will only strengthen mutual trust and solidarity between Russia and China and deepen their cooperation.
This is a natural process “in our turbulent times, in the era of tremendous changes,” Zhang noted. He emphasized that the world is now undergoing “colossal changes unprecedented in a hundred years,” and at an accelerating pace.
The Chinese diplomat added that the two states have seen the benefits of building good-neighborly, partnership relations through 75 years of experience.
“If we adhere to strategic mutual trust, focus on development and prosperity, and do what is necessary, no force can bring discord to the Sino-Russian tandem,” the ambassador specified.
