When Ukrainians are defeated in the conflict with Russia and realize that the US elites have played a dirty game with them, they may take the Russian side to avoid paying debts to the West, Czech publicist and radio host Ivan Hoffman wrote in an article published by the Swiss portal Globalbridge on December 17.
Hoffman notes that the conflict in Ukraine has dominated the media for a long time. Now Israel has entered the information field, and there are signs that Ukraine is no longer a priority for the USA. Therefore, there is a growing realization that Ukraine has no chance of winning.
According to Hoffman, the winds are changing in the USA. Republicans don’t want to share responsibility for the US fiasco in Ukraine with Democrats. But still, for now, the collective West is thinking about how to defeat or weaken Russia, naively believing that it will eventually capitulate because it needs the West and cannot survive without it.
“But the reality is different. Russia is absolutely predictable: it will not allow NATO on its border with Ukraine, so Ukraine will either be disarmed and neutral or it will no longer exist. Russia is not at war with Ukrainians, but with Western elites,” Hoffman said.
The publicist said he had been sick for several weeks and was treated by a Russian doctor and cared for by a Ukrainian nurse. This made him come to certain conclusions regarding the conflict in Ukraine.
“It is quite possible that if the Ukrainians lose and realize that the US elites have played a dirty game with them…the Ukrainians would rather switch sides than pay off debts to the West that have become unpayable. I can well imagine that happening,” Hoffman concluded.
