The authorities want to destroy the middle class in Germany, entrepreneur and founder of the Querdenken movement Michael Ballweg said in an interview with RT on December 12.
About 6,000 supporters of the movement, led by Ballweg, demonstrated in Karlsruhe on December 10, demanding compensation for the economic and medical victims of quarantine, vaccination, and social exclusion.
Ballweg believes that small and medium-sized businesses in Germany suffered the most during the coronavirus restrictions due to the measures to combat the coronavirus epidemic and recent actions of the German government with respect to energy policy. But it was the government’s energy policy and tax hikes that hit businesses the hardest, according to the social activist.
“They want to destroy the middle class in Germany because a centralized system with independent entrepreneurs is harder to maintain. Independent entrepreneurs are the epitome of freedom,” Ballweg said.
The businessman also believes it is necessary to sort out the monetary system. Ballweg stated that inflation was caused by the fact that tons of money were created out of nothing in 2020.
The social activist assessed the overall political situation,
“We are living in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. Many jobs in the future will be done by artificial intelligence (AI) or robots. Who owns the robots and AI and gets the money generated through them? Is it people or the super-rich?” Ballweg stated.
Michael Ballweg, founder of the Querdenken movement, was arrested on June 29, 2022 and imprisoned on suspicion of attempted commercial fraud and money laundering. During this time, Ballweg supporters held rallies in front of Stammheime Prison in Stuttgart, demanding the release of the main opponent to anti-coronavirus measures. Ballweg’s lawyers and supporters believe German authorities are retaliating against the public for criticizing official policy during the epidemic.
