Servicemen of the Army Group Tsentr of the Russian Armed Forces repelled an attack of Ukrainian militants in the Krasny Liman direction, a stronghold of the Ukrainian armed units was captured, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry informed on November 30.
The report reads that “as a result of competent actions” the soldiers of a motorized rifle unit of the Army Group Tsentr repulsed the attack of the Ukrainian armed units and “in the course of maneuver defense” captured the enemy stronghold.
In a video published by the Russian Defense Ministry, the battalion’s chief of staff with the call sign Yantar said that the Ukrainian armed units had recently launched 10 attacks in the Krasny Liman direction, which were successfully repulsed.
“My unit has repelled three attacks. At any time are ready to repel the next attempts, the servicemen feel good and are ready to fulfill the tasks,” the Russian military officer added.
Combat units are now posted at the captured positions. Small-size UAVs are carrying out reconnaissance from the air.
The unit is made up of volunteers from Ulyanovsk. They are on combat duty and repel attacks by Ukrainian nationalists.
